University of Birmingham

The University of Birmingham is a public research university in the English Midlands, with a second campus in Dubai. Its Kazakhstan page is short but carries one fact few other British universities publish. Birmingham states that it welcomes 'a number of sponsored students to Birmingham each year' and has 'a Memorandum of Understanding with Kazakh British Technical University in the Engineering and Physical Sciences, and Economics, subject areas'. For a student at Kazakh British Technical University, or one weighing engineering and economics specifically, that is a standing institutional relationship rather than a general welcome, and it is worth asking what it makes available.
