University of Surrey

The University of Surrey is a public research university in Guildford, south-west of London. Its position on Kazakh school qualifications is among the most categorical in Britain, and a student should read it before spending a UCAS choice: 'we do not accept school leaving qualifications from Kazakhstan'. That is not the usual British formulation. Most universities say the attestat is insufficient on its own and can be supplemented; Surrey says the school qualification is not accepted. The route it publishes instead is an International Foundation Year at the University of Surrey International Study Centre, leading to undergraduate study on successful completion.
