Baylor University

Baylor is the world's largest Baptist university, in Waco, Texas, chartered in 1845 and the oldest continuously operating university in the state. Two features matter for a Kazakh applicant. First, Baylor operates a Guaranteed Tuition Option allowing a student to lock a fixed tuition rate for four years — initially higher than the standard rate but fixed for 48 months, with election running 1 June to 31 August. For a family converting tenge over four years, rate certainty may be worth more than the lower opening price. Second, Baylor states that international students are required to have health insurance, and its own materials warn that international participation in Federal Work-Study is limited by regulations prioritising US citizens — so campus earnings should not be built into a funding plan. Baylor admits in autumn, spring and summer.
