Clemson is South Carolina's public land-grant research university, with seven colleges, two schools and over 25,000 students, and is described as highly selective with strong century-old student traditions. That is unambiguous and makes Clemson a full-cost proposition unless external funding such as Bolashak is in place. Clemson also requires verification of funds for the entire educational tenure rather than the first year alone. One thing is worth checking despite the scholarship position: Clemson states it 'is pleased to offer resident (in-state) tuition to citizens of the following countries and states' under South Carolina's sister-state programme.
