DePauw University

DePauw is a liberal arts university in Greencastle, Indiana, and from the class entering Fall 2026 it operates the DePauw Promise — a commitment to meeting 100% of the calculated financial need of every incoming first-year student. Merit scholarships are awarded automatically on admission and range from USD 20,000 to full tuition, with the Edward G. Rector Scholarship covering full tuition for roughly the top five percent of the applicant pool. For international students DePauw has simplified its paperwork in a way that matters: it requires only its own Student Certification of Finances and states it no longer accepts the CSS Profile or ISFAA. Test scores may be self-reported, including on the official secondary school transcript, and test-optional applicants remain fully eligible for merit scholarships.
