Oklahoma State is Oklahoma's public land-grant research university at Stillwater. Its international scholarship arrangement is automatic and clearly stated: 'We offer scholarships ranging from USD 7,000 to USD 15,000 per academic year for international students. When you apply to OSU, you will automatically be considered for these scholarships.' OSU puts it more simply still on its freshman page: 'Your application for admission is also your application for scholarships.' An older OSU page gives the range as USD 5,000 to USD 15,000, and both figures are recorded below. Two practical advantages stand out for a Kazakh applicant. Copies of test scores are accepted where verifiable online, and OSU accepts ACT superscores for scholarship consideration — 'Official ACT Superscores provided by ACT will be accepted for scholarship consideration' — which several comparable institutions refuse.
