Saint Joseph's University

Saint Joseph's is a Jesuit university spread across three sites — Hawk Hill on the Philadelphia city line, University City, and a Lancaster campus — organised into five schools with the Haub School of Business as the best known. Two features stand out for a Kazakh applicant. There is no application fee at all, and conditional admission is available on campus: an applicant who meets the academic bar but not the English bar can enrol at the ELS Language Center at Saint Joseph's, and completing Level 112 satisfies the English requirement outright. Against that, the documentary standard is strict — transcripts must be original or certified by the school or an EducationUSA Center, translations must be notarised, and scanned or emailed copies are explicitly not accepted, which means physical post from Kazakhstan and time to allow for it. Credential evaluation through a NACES member is required only for post-secondary transcripts, not for the attestat, unlike The College of New Jersey.
