Bard College Berlin

Bard College Berlin is a private liberal arts university awarding dual degrees: a Bachelor of Arts from Bard College in New York and a German state-accredited qualification. That dual award is the substance, and it is the same structure RIT Croatia offers. An American degree carries international recognition; a German state-accredited one carries automatic standing across the European Union and access to Germany's post-study provisions, which are among the more generous in Europe. It accepts the Common App, which is unusual for a European institution and lets an application sit alongside American ones. For a Kazakh applicant there is an additional connection worth knowing. Bard maintains a dual degree relationship with the American University of Central Asia in Bishkek, four hours from Almaty. The same institutional family therefore appears at both the nearest option available and one of the more distant ones, and the two should be weighed together.
