Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College

Beijing Normal-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College, also known as BNBU, was established in Zhuhai in 2005 as the second Sino-foreign cooperative university in China. It teaches in English through a partnership between Beijing Normal University and Hong Kong Baptist University. Reported tuition is CNY 110,000 a year, or CNY 440,000 across a four-year degree, with an application fee of CNY 208 and a reported application deadline of 30 June for the September intake. Zhuhai is the practical advantage. It sits on the Pearl River Delta adjacent to Macao, with living costs materially below Shenzhen and Guangzhou while remaining inside the Greater Bay Area. Among the joint ventures, which cluster in expensive cities, that is an unusually favourable location on cost. It should not be confused with Beijing Normal University in Beijing, which is a Chinese public university teaching in Chinese at a fraction of the price.
