University of Bedfordshire

The University of Bedfordshire is a public university with campuses at Luton, Bedford and Milton Keynes, teaching business, computing, health, education, law and the creative arts. Its international scholarship runs from GBP 3,000 to GBP 6,000 off tuition for each year of study, and it is awarded on a published academic threshold rather than by competition. Over three years that is GBP 9,000 to GBP 18,000 — among the largest awards found so far, and knowable in advance rather than hoped for. The threshold is the thing a Kazakh applicant must check first. It is expressed in A-level and International Baccalaureate terms — an IB score of 33 points or more, or A-level grades of ABB or higher — and says nothing about the NIS Grade 12 Certificate or the attestat. Whether Bedfordshire maps Kazakh qualifications onto that scale decides whether the award is reachable at all. Foundation entrants are treated better here than at most universities: students progressing from Bedfordshire's own International Foundation Year remain eligible, where several UK institutions exclude pathway entrants outright.
