Belmont University

Belmont is a Christian university on a 75-acre urban campus minutes from downtown Nashville, offering more than 190 programmes including 19 STEM-designated degrees. Its central fact for a Kazakh applicant is stated plainly on its own international page: both international and domestic students are charged the same tuition, with no international premium. Merit scholarships range from USD 8,000 to USD 25,000 a year with no separate application, and Belmont superscores the SAT and ACT for both admission and scholarship purposes where the testing agency calculates it. Belmont does not consider the Writing component of either test. English proficiency must be satisfied before an admission decision is issued, and Belmont names a specific staff member in International Student and Scholars Services to handle immigration paperwork once a deposit is paid.
