College of Charleston

The College of Charleston is a public liberal arts college in one of the most historic cities in the United States, and it is unusually relevant to a Kazakh applicant. It operates a Eurasia International Ambassador Scholarship awarded specifically to citizens of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan — a nationality-specific award that names Kazakhstan directly. Separately, international students who apply by 1 March are automatically eligible for a USD 10,000 annual scholarship, and the College's International Ambassador Scholarship requires no separate application. All scholarships are renewable up to four years. The College states it cannot offer international students need-based financial aid.
