CSU is Colorado's public land-grant research university at Fort Collins, founded 1870, with over 34,000 students from more than 100 countries including 2,500-plus international students, across 8 academic colleges and 350-plus programmes on a 4,773-acre campus. Its international scholarship arrangement is automatic, generous and unusually fast: 'Colorado State University is excited to offer automatic consideration scholarships to incoming undergraduate international students. Scholarships for first-year students range from USD 2,000 to USD 12,000 per year... No additional application necessary!' CSU adds that 'students will learn of their admission decision and scholarship award amount within 2-4 weeks after submitting an application', far faster than the spring notification cycles common elsewhere. Two deadlines govern: 15 December for highest consideration, 15 March for regular.
