Rollins College

Rollins is a liberal arts college in Winter Park, just outside Orlando, and on the evidence of its own pages it is an unusually strong financial proposition for a Kazakh applicant with genuine need. It states plainly that it is 'one of only a few U.S. colleges that offers need-based aid to international applicants', and that international students are eligible for both academic scholarships and need-based aid. Its scholarships for international students run from USD 15,000 to USD 32,000, with full tuition available to the most competitive candidates. Crucially it does not use the CSS Profile. Rollins provides its own free Non-US Citizen Financial Aid Application, sparing an applicant the CSS fee that Providence explicitly refuses to waive. There is no application fee on either application route, tests are optional, and the English waiver requires only two years of English-medium schooling, which is an unusually low threshold. A Four-Year Graduation Guarantee reduces the risk of a fifth year of costs.
