Simmons University

Simmons is a women-centred university on The Fenway in Boston, and eligibility is the first thing a Kazakh applicant needs to know. Undergraduate admission is open to individuals who were assigned female at birth, applicants who consistently live and identify as women, and applicants who do not fit the gender binary but feel they belong in the undergraduate community of women. Graduate study is co-educational. That gate excludes roughly half of Kazakh school leavers regardless of grades or English, and it sits above every other requirement. For those eligible, Simmons is comparatively affordable by Boston standards at USD 48,308 tuition, offers eight separate routes to satisfying English including SAT and ACT, and automatically considers first-year international applicants for merit scholarships. Interviews are recommended rather than required, and Simmons frames them usefully as a chance to demonstrate English beyond a test score. Nursing is priced separately and higher. The university belongs to the Colleges of the Fenway consortium, giving access to neighbouring institutions' courses.
