Temple University, Japan Campus

Temple University's Japan Campus is the oldest and largest foreign university in Japan and the only one offering full degrees entirely in English. It has around 3,319 undergraduates, which makes it much the largest American campus abroad on this list. Its admissions model is the practical argument. Applications are accepted year-round on a rolling basis, up to three semesters in advance, with decisions two to three weeks after submission. Almost every other American campus abroad runs the November-to-January cycle, where a missed deadline costs a year. It was the first institution recognised by Japan's Ministry of Education as a Foreign University, Japan Campus, which allows it to sponsor student visas directly, and its programmes are accredited by the Middle States Commission on Higher Education. It also runs an Entry Year Program allowing a student to complete the first year in Japan before continuing at Temple's main campus in Philadelphia.
