Leeds Beckett University

Leeds Beckett is a large modern university known for sport, business, health and the built environment, operating city-centre and Headingley campuses. Leeds is among the more affordable large British cities and has a very substantial student population, which for an international student means established communities and a functioning part-time labour market — a Student visa permits up to 20 hours a week during term at degree level, and in a city this size those hours genuinely exist. It is a separate institution from the University of Leeds, which publishes the most precisely quantified Kazakh guidance in Britain: the Nazarbayev certificate accepted in place of A-levels at AAA or AAB with a minimum of C in mathematics, and an explanation of how the attestat maps onto GCSE mathematics requirements.
