University of Chichester

The University of Chichester is a small public university on the south coast, teaching education and teacher training, sport, the performing arts, business and the humanities across campuses in Chichester and Bognor Regis. Its international scholarship structure needs reading carefully, because most of it does not reach Kazakhstan. Chichester introduced four regional awards for 2026 entry, given automatically to nationals of and residents in South Asia, South-East Asia, Sub-Saharan Africa and Turkey, alongside an award for EU nationals. Central Asia appears on none of them. What is open is the Global Distinction Scholarship, which Chichester describes as a merit award for top-performing international students from all regions. That is the route a Kazakh applicant should pursue, and its value is the first thing to ask. One condition applies to the regional awards and should be checked against the Global Distinction Scholarship too. Chichester states they are only available to self-funded students, and not to students receiving external scholarships or to sponsored students.
