University of Kent

The University of Kent is a campus research university at Canterbury, in the south-east of England. Its Kazakhstan page is explicit that the school certificate alone is not a route. For entry to Year 1 a Kazakhstani student typically needs 'a foundation course, either at a UK based college, or a college in Kazakhstan', or 'one year of a Bakalavr (Bachelor) at a licensed institution with an average grade of at least 3.33/4.0'. The first of those is worth noticing: Kent accepts a foundation course taken in Kazakhstan, not only one taken in Britain. That removes a year of overseas living costs from the route for a student who can find a recognised programme at home.
