University of Oxford

The University of Oxford is a collegiate public research university, and one of the few in Britain that publishes an institutional overseas fee band rather than leaving the figure to each course page. For 2026/27 the overseas course fee is 'between GBP 37,380 and GBP 62,820', with clinical medicine charged 'significantly higher'. Since 2019/20 that single figure covers both the university and the college: Oxford states the change 'is intended to ensure that the total level of fees payable is in all cases completely clear'. Oxford's application deadline is the earlier national one — 15 October, not January — and it applies to every course, not only medicine. A student who discovers Oxford in November has missed it by a year.
