The University of Wolverhampton is a modern public university in the West Midlands, teaching business, engineering, computing, health, education and the creative arts across campuses in Wolverhampton, Walsall and Telford. Its Academic Excellence Scholarship is awarded without an application — the admissions team states it on the offer letter — and it reduces the fee for each year of study rather than the first year alone. The award reaches students paying international fees who are privately funded, which on the pattern of eight other UK universities would exclude a Bolashak scholar.
