Augustana College

Augustana is a Lutheran liberal arts college in Rock Island, Illinois, part of the Quad Cities on the Mississippi. It publishes something few colleges do: a stated minimum scholarship rather than a range. Applicants completing the Early Decision or Early Action round by 15 November receive priority scholarship consideration and a minimum scholarship of USD 29,500 annually for campus residents on a full meal plan. Augustana offers both merit-based scholarships and need-based financial aid to international students, with merit automatic and need-based requiring the International Student Financial Aid application from the applicant portal. Merit awards renew automatically at the same amount provided renewal criteria are met, though Augustana states scholarships will not exceed the first-year amount in later years. Every student has access to Augie Choice, USD 2,000 towards study abroad, research or an internship.
