CSU Fullerton is a public university within the CSU system in Orange County, and one detail matters more than any other for a Kazakh applicant planning their English test: Fullerton does not accept Duolingo. CSU International Programs states plainly that 'the following campuses do not accept Duolingo scores: Bakersfield, East Bay, Fullerton, and Maritime Academy.' Duolingo is the cheapest and most accessible of the major English tests from Kazakhstan, and an applicant who sits it for Fullerton will have wasted the fee. TOEFL or IELTS must be taken instead.
