Lewis & Clark College

Lewis & Clark is a liberal arts college on a hillside campus in Portland, Oregon, with roughly 2,100 degree-seeking undergraduates drawn from six continents and more than 70 countries. It offers both merit scholarships and need-based financial aid to international students, with all applicants automatically considered for merit awards starting at USD 24,000 a year, and three named scholarships reserved for international students only: the Mary Dimond, the John Baumler and the International Student Scholarship. Need is assessed through the International Student Application for Financial Assistance rather than the CSS Profile. Two limits are stated plainly and both matter for a four-year plan: Lewis & Clark does not provide loans to students, and the amount of a financial aid award normally does not change from year to year regardless of tuition increases.
