Public research university
USD 31,420 (2026/27)
UNLV is a public research university in Las Vegas, and it is internationally known for hospitality management. Its Harrah College of Hospitality is among the most established programmes of its kind, which is directly relevant to a Kazakh applicant given the growth of Kazakhstan's hospitality and tourism sector and the international mobility of that qualification. Its published non-resident tuition and fees come to USD 31,420, against a full cost of attendance of USD 53,230. What it offers international students by way of scholarships was not obtained. A useful benchmark sits within Nevada. The University of Nevada, Reno publishes international tuition openly at USD 23,562 a year, offers USD 1,000 to USD 12,000 for new international students, and states plainly that it requires 'no SAT or ACT scores for admission or scholarship consideration.' A Kazakh applicant should ask UNLV for the equivalent figures and compare, since the two Nevada public universities set their own rates and awards.
