RIT Croatia

RIT Croatia is a global campus of Rochester Institute of Technology with sites in Dubrovnik and Zagreb, and it is described as the only institution in Croatia offering both an American and a Croatian diploma. That dual award is the substance. A graduate holds an American degree and separately a Croatian one, which carries automatic recognition across the European Union. For a Kazakh student intending to work in Europe, the second is worth as much as the first. The funding position is unusually strong and unusually transparent. Candidates with excellent academic achievement throughout secondary school automatically qualify for an award of 1,000 euro a year. More than 90 per cent of last year's aid applicants received something, and the institution awards over 350,000 euro a year to first-year undergraduates. One eligibility point matters and is easily missed. The EU tuition rate extends to students from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia as well as EU countries. Kazakhstan is not on that list, so a Kazakh applicant pays the non-EU rate.
